If you hold a GMRS license, you can authorize immediate family members to use the GMRS system under your license without requiring them to get their own individual license.
In terms of GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) licensing, "immediate family" is defined broadly to include those related by biological, legal, or marital relationships. This includes:
Spouses: Your husband or wife
Children: Biological, adopted, and stepchildren
Parents: Biological and step-parents
Siblings: Brothers and sisters, including half-siblings
Father-in-law and Mother-in-law: These relatives are also considered immediate family
Son-in-law and Daughter-in-law: These are also considered immediate family members
Just keep in mind they still must follow the same rules. This includes ID-ing every 15 minutes.
